About us

Hola! It is Joanna and Carlos here—a Polish-Chilean couple that loves good, natural food.

We believe in local—local producers, who deliver unprocessed ingredients that later on can be transformed into the most authentic flavors. We realize a good number of the ingredients used in Latin cuisine grows in Europe and can be responsibly used to prepare dishes typical for other regions. One of them is corn—grown in the south of Poland where we live—and serving as the main ingredient of our corn tortillas, whose taste, flavor, and texture are not unlike those in Mexico.

We are aware not all the products and flavors can be found in Poland. We know there are no olives nor oranges growing in our climate. No coffee, no certain species. Our vision, however, is to look for local providers whenever it is possible, and in other cases—find responsible suppliers who share our vision elsewhere.
